Casey Lynn Pitzer (1980–2013)
Casey Lynn Pitzer was a 32-year-old mother from Sabina, Ohio. She went missing after a night out with friends on March 17, 2013. One week later, her body was found in a small retention pond near the State Route 73 Bypass in Wilmington.
The Montgomery County Coroner’s Office ruled Casey’s death an accidental drowning. However, her family and many supporters continue to raise serious questions about what happened and how the case was handled—pointing to gaps in documentation, conflicting accounts, and evidence concerns that they believe deserve a fresh, transparent review.
